Privacy statement

This statement covers the DocMath website (docmath.ca) and the DocMath app for Android, which opens the same site.

Last updated November 2026.

In short

Everything you enter into a calculator stays on your device. DocMath does not store, send or see your inputs, and nothing you type is shared with any other website. There are no accounts, ads, trackers or analytics.

Calculators

Calculations happen in your browser. Your entries are cleared when you leave the page. Calculations never need names or other identifiers, so please leave them out.

On your device

Your browser remembers your favorites and two settings: that you have seen the welcome notice, and whether you turned on AI match. These stay on your device; clearing your browser data removes them.

AI match (optional)

If you turn it on, a small language model is downloaded from DocMath once and kept on your device. Your search text is processed on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Suggestion form (optional)

If you send a suggestion, we receive only what you type, plus your name and email if you choose to add them. We use it only to review the suggestion and reply. We never sell or share it or use it for marketing, and we delete it once reviewed, within 12 months. Please do not include patient information.

Hosting

Like any website, our host keeps standard security logs (such as IP address and browser type). These logs and any suggestions you send are stored on its servers. They never include anything you type into a calculator.

Questions

You can ask to see, correct or delete anything you sent us through the contact form. If a security breach ever affected information you sent us, we would notify you as the law requires. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
